Spirit of Cuba by Alec Bradley, offers top quality at low cost. It combines the same select-grade leaf and painstaking construction as Alec Bradley’s other lines. To gain the mild-to-medium profile, Spirit of Cuba incorporates Central American filler and binder tobaccos and a tawny, golden color Connecticut wrapper.

Don’t let the low price scare you off. You are getting a really good, well made cigar. The roll is firm and dense with no soft spots and a surprisingly easy draw. Many cigars in this price range will burn too fast, but not Spirit of Cuba. The Churchill size will burn for well over 2 hours. I was very impressed with the flavor profile. The first 2 or 3 puffs were a little bitter, but it quickly passes and the cigar really opens up with a creamy, mellow citrus undertone. I tasted leather, nuts and wood.

Overall, this is a great cigar with some unexpected complexity and outstanding construction. Presentation for the cigars is 25 to the box, with attention-getting traditional box art.
